Abstract

There are relatively many research papers dealing with the distribution and chemical nature of efferent neurons innervating genital organs in animals. Therefore, by means of combined retrograde tracing and double-labelling immunofluorescence, the present study was aimed at disclosing the patterns of putative co-incidence of tyrosine hy­droxylase, dopamine β-hydroxylase, neu­ropeptide, substance, calcitonin gene-related peptide and nitric oxide synthase within the efferent neurons supplying the ovi­duct in the pig.
