Abstract

With the continuous progress of economy and technology, countries in the world, especially the
western developed countries, are paying more and more attention to animal diseases and food safety. In recent
years, animal epidemics, such as avian influenza and swine fever, have occurred in all countries of the world.
These animal epidemics have a direct impact on the international trade of animal products, and the trade
competition of animal products in various countries has become increasingly fierce. The purpose of this paper is
to study the impact of international certification of animal diseases on the international trade of related animals
and animal products, and to put forward some Suggestions for the development of international trade of animal
products under the background of international certification of animal diseases. In this paper, on the basis of
existing research, first of all, analyzes its theoretical basis, mainly including the concept of sanitary and
phytosanitary and animal epidemic prevention theory two aspects, and then by means of correlation analysis test,
for the present stage our country animal epidemics international certification and animal products trade
conditions are analyzed, and analyses the influence of animal disease international certification scope of import
and export products, conditions, the production cost of animal products and the influence of market scope and so
on four aspects. The results show that there is a positive correlation between international certification of animal
diseases and international trade of animal products, with a positive correlation index of 0.83. The impact of
international certification of animal diseases on animals and international trade of animal products is mainly
manifested in four aspects: the scope of import and export products, the conditions, the production cost of
animal products and the market scope.
