Effect of Panax Notoginsenoside on Hormone Resistance and Lipid Metabolism Disorder in Lupus Nephritis Mice

Abstract

To investigate the effect of Panax Notoginsenoside on hormone resistance and lipid metabolism
in lupus nephritis mice. On the basis of lupus nephritis mice, the model of hormone resistance was
established and divided into two groups, 20 in each group: model group and Notoginsenoside group. The
levels of blood glucose, serum creatinine (SCR), urea nitrogen (BUN) were compared between the two
groups. The levels of serum C-reactive protein (CRP) and endothelial nitric oxide synthetase (eNOS) were
detected by ELISA. The levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C were compared. Compared with the model
group, the levels of blood glucose, serum creatinine (SCR), urea nitrogen (BUN) and blood lipid TC, TG,
LDL-C and HDL-C in the PNS group were significantly lower (P < 0.05). Notoginsenoside can obviously
improve hormone resistance and lipid metabolism of lupus nephritis mice through signal pathway
mechanism.
